We are open to the Public!
Our sod is 100% Kentucky Blue Grass and cut fresh daily from our fields. Our yard is stocked with fresh sod every day. Any pick up orders over 40 rolls we ask that you call and reserve the sod for the next day so we can guarantee the amount you need.
- Each roll of sod covers 9 sq. Ft. (16” x 81”) for easy handling
- Sod is sold by the individual roll
- Available for pick-up or delivery

Sod Delivery
In order to maintain our high quality standard of fresh cut sod, our delivery days are Monday to Saturday. We require at least 48 hours’ notice for all deliveries and deliveries will only be taken over the phone, and pre-paid with a credit card. NO EMAIL orders will be accepted at this time.
- Delivery is available for a minimum order of 40 rolls of sod
- Delivery & Skid Deposit charges will apply
- All our delivery trucks are equipped with forklifts
- Sod can be delivered right to your front door
We deliver to the following areas:
East Scarborough, Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Brooklin, Oshawa, Bowmanville, Courtice, Uxbridge and Port Perry
Pallet Returns are the customers responsibility to get the skid return back. There is a limit of 1 year from purchase to qualify for the return, after that period we will not refund the skid deposit.

Return & Cancellation
Due to the nature of our product, there are absolutely NO RETURNS or REFUNDS on sod once it has been recieved by the customer. If there is an issue, you must notify the office the same day of pick-up or delivery. We will then proceed with necessary action for customer satisfaction.
To cancel an order, your must give us at least 24 hour notice. For example, if you place an order to have sod delivered on a Saturday, you must call to cancel the order no later than on Friday morning. Upon cancellation of the order, we will be happy to either issue you a full refund or reschedule your order for another day. If you DO NOT provide us with a 24 hour advanced notice, we cannot cancel your order or give you a refund. Your order is being harvested fresh for you and unfortunately there is nothing we can do once it is cut and loaded on the truck.
Wintermere Sod Growers reserves the right to cancel or reschedule your order for another time or provide a full refund due to inclement weather conditions and field conditions.

We carry 4 special blends of seed for all different types of lawns.
- Premium House Blend – Our own special blend of 100% Kentucky Blue Grass
- Rapid Grow – 60% Kentucky Bluegrass / 40% Perennial Ryegrass: used for quick establishment of seed for bare areas and for over seeding

Fertilizer
We offer a Spring, Summer & Fall Fertilizer.
Every lawn needs to be fed with fertilizer to keep the grass looking green, lush and maintain a healthy root structure throughout the season.
- 3.5kg – covers 1,200 sq. ft.
- 7kg – covers 2,500 sq. ft.
- 12kg – covers 5,000 sq. ft.
- 25kg – covers 11,000 sq. ft.
Sod Roller Rental
Rolling is an important step to leveling out your lawn. Rolling your new sod completely removes the air between the sod and soil pressing the roots firmly into the soil, encouraging root growth to start immediately.
- All sod rollers require a deposit and can be rented for 24 hours or Weekend flat fee rate.
Pre-Bagged Topsoil
We have top quality screened topsoil by the bag, half yard or full yard available for pick-up.
- Each bag is approximately 0.88 cubic feet. It will top-dress an area about 10 ft. x 10 ft. for over seeding.
6” Green Bio-Degradable Sod Stakes
100% bio-degradable sod stakes are environmentally friendly. They will disappear in 12 – 24 months leaving no residuals.
- All sod stakes are sold in packs of 10 or by the box (Qty. 500)
